As part of their Healthy Living topic for Eco School, P4 had a tour of their local supermarket to find out where food is sourced, if it is organic and how important it is to maintain a healthy and balanced diet. Thanks to past pupil and store manager Thomas Magennis for the educated and informative tour. The pupils learned where all the fruit/veg and meat is sourced from and they also met the chef. Recycling was covered and Mulkerns explained how just like our school they are aiming to be a more sustainable and Eco friendly place.
