Silent Valley Walk for Water tripπŸ’¦πŸ’š

22nd Mar 2022

Our KS2 pupils had a wonderful day celebrating National Water Day at the Silent Valley in Kilkeel. We were certainly spoiled with the weather.β˜€οΈ
The children completed a 3 mile walk around the reservoir and along the way we had to look out for water facts. We learnt valuable life skills such as, how to stay safe in the water and they also practised CPR. After all of this it was time for a well earned lunch and a play in the park. They had certainly worked up an appetite from all the hill rolling and walking.
It was a pleasure to watch the children enjoying such a fun day out with their friends. Their behaviour was also exemplary and was complimented several times by the staff of NI Water on their listening skills and questions. Definitely a trip to remember. 😊
