Killean P.S has been given the opportunity to take part in Operation Encompass . If a child or young person has experienced, any domestic abuse, the school will be made aware of this at the start of the next school day.
Operation Encompass ensures that members of the school staff, (Principal Mr C Mc Ateer ,DT Mrs P Gollogly, Mrs M Burns DDT) known as Key Adults, are trained to allow them to use the information that has been shared, to make provision for possible difficulties experienced by children, or their families, who have experienced a domestic abuse incident.
