Connall’s Day

7th Dec 2021

The whole school took part in Connall’s Tattoo Day to remember our little super hero on his 6th birthday. His class mates proudly showed off their tattoos and spoke of their many happy memories of Connall. They remembered his beautiful big smile and how much they miss playing with him , the fun they had together and what an amazing footballer he was. They remembered sharing toys with him outside, how proud he was when he learnt to skip and hula hoop and how much of a fast runner he was. They remembered how kind and gentle he was to them.

Mrs McKay remembers Connall’s nice manners and the lovely greeting he had for her and his classmates every morning. She remembers giving Connall high fives when he was so proud of his work. Mrs Finnegan remembers Connall’s big smile when he was learning how to skip and how proud we all were of him.

Connall will always have a special place in their hearts. His classmates painted and decorated hearts to put on a tree in the classroom. We want to wait for a calmer day to hang them on Connall’s tree outside which we will surround with stones painted by all of the pupils of Killean P.S. We also plan to have an extra Tattoo day in the New Year to allow all pupils who were absent today to take part. Thanks to everyone who give so generously to The Grace Kelly Children’s Cancer Trust. We hope to have a final amount raised soon.

Thanks to your generosity we raised £910 for The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust in memory of Connall Magee. If you would still like to donate follow the link below -
