Declan Carville visits St Michael’s

Our pupils were captivated by local author Declan Carville who visited our school today. It was fantastic for the children in P3,4 and 5 to meet a real life author. He talked about his famous books ‘The Fairy Glen’, ‘The Magic Harp’ and a ‘Day to remember at the Giant’s Causeway’. He told the children all about what inspired him to become a writer and how you could become an illustrator. We can't wait to put his writing tips into action.
