Dinny Murphy returns to St Michael's PS, Killean
Over the past number of weeks P3/4 have been learning lots about school in the past as part of their World Around Us topic. They wanted to find out more specifically about our school and what it was like in the past. They decided they wanted to invite in a special visitor who was an expert in this area. They brainstormed together and decided that Dinny Murphy would be the best man for the job!
Dinny kindly came in to visit and answered all of the children's questions. He spoke to them about how the school building has changed, their uniform, the subjects they learn and shared lots of his school memories. The children loved listening to everything Dinny had to say. They even made him his very own poem as a thank you.
Thank you Dinny from everyone in P3/4, it was a very special lesson for us all.
