EA REACH Programme P5/6
Back to News
9th May 2025
P5/6 have been taking part in the REACH Programme delivered by Matthew Keenan. The REACH Programme is part of the implementation of the Children and Young People’s Emotional Health and Well-being in Education Framework. The children have been developing skills to help deal with stress, anxiety, anger, fear, sadness and boredom. They have used breathing exercises to help them relax, had walking debates based on topics like internet safety, social media, healthy eating, exercise and education - focusing on how everyone’s opinion counts, it’s ok to change your mind, or to be unsure and to listen to others and working together to build a wall of confidence.
