Minister for Infrastructure visits Saint Michael
Back to News
2nd Oct 2025
Yesterday we welcomed the Minister of Infrastructure to our school along with Dáire Hughes MP and Cathal King as well as representatives from Road Services. We are advocating strongly for increased traffic calming measures around our school and community. Keeping our school community safe, especially around the vicinity of the school, is a priority for the school and Board of Governors. We had an extremely positive meeting with Minister Kimmins and we would like to thank her for not only speaking to the representatives of the school and community but also for taking so much time to speak with our children and to visit some classrooms. Minister Kimmins was put through her paces by our Pastoral Care Team and Eco Team who used their strong pupil voice to express the needs for traffic calming measures and a playpark in Killean. Well done boys and girls.
