As part of their ‘Celebrations’ topic P3/4 have been learning all about Diwali. They decorated outside their classroom with Rangoli. Mrs Harvey, one of our cooks, told the children how, when she was a child, she entered competitions for decorative Rangoli. She used food colouring to dye rice flour for her designs, we used coloured chalk for ours.
