As part of their World Around Us topic ‘The Victorians’, P5/6 have been learning about early electricity and electrical inventions. They spent a very enjoyable morning in St. Paul’s Technology Department learning about electricity and making electrical circuits in the workshop using batteries, wires, bulbs, buzzers and completing the circuit using a soldering iron. A special word of thanks to Mr McGovern and his Year 14 students, especially our past pupil Tiernan and also to Mrs Hollywood (Daniel’s Mum) for organising juice and biscuits.
