The P6/7 children got the opportunity on Monday as part of our celebrations for St Brigid's Day to visit her shrine in Faughart. The children learned about her life, the many stories about her, the miracles she performed and why she is celebrated as one of Ireland's Patron Saints each year.
The children were able to collect some holy water so we could bless our new St Brigid's crosses.
